Visiting us

The University Archives and Special Collections Centre is open Mon to Friday by advance date.

• Please email: archive-enquiries@arts.ac.uk to asking an appointment.
• Before booking, please scan our online catalogue and provide us with the reference numbers for the items you want to see.
• Log in to Bookish Back up Online to watch this video for information on how to asking items from the archives.
• Yous may request a maximum of 20 items per visit.
• If yous cannot make your appointment, please allow us know at to the lowest degree 24 hours in accelerate.

Teaching sessions

Copying service for remote researchers

Nosotros can provide a limited number of copies of archive material for researchers who are unable to visit the archive in person.

There are charges for copying in line with prices charged across library services.

If you lot wish to have something copied, please email archive-enquiries@arts.ac.united kingdom and we can suggest you whether this is possible. We will consider the condition and preservation needs of the item, copyright and Data Protection.

Delight annotation, copying items from the Stanley Kubrick Archive is restricted to bookish researchers working on university or schoolhouse projects only. This is due to the archive'southward donation agreement.

Photographing items during your visit

If y'all visit the archive in person, non-flash photographs of materials from our archives and collections are usually permitted for not-commercial research and private written report, with the exception of the Stanley Kubrick Archive.

Please ask a member of staff before photographing archive materials. You will need to fill out a copyright declaration course giving details of all items which you photograph.

Commercial reproduction

We can provide copies of archive materials for commercial reproduction such as in books, magazines etc. You must clear copyright on any items before the archive tin release images to you. A fee is charged to cover the assistants of the copying and provide a contribution to collection care. We tin suggest on the accuse when y'all make your selection.

Copying of archive material from the Stanley Kubrick Archive for commercial purposes requires blessing by the donors of the Annal before we tin release any images to you. This procedure can accept some time. If yous wish to asking images for reproduction we tin advise you further on this when you visit.
